My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lola Mae! Lola is a 5 year old, Red Miniature Dachshund with beautiful brown eyes. She is a petite little thing weighing only about 11 pounds. She is sweet and gorgeous and YES, she knows it… She is definitely a DIVA! She is a great snuggler and loves to be with her people. And, because she is a princess she would really like to be a spoiled “ONLY DOG.”
She would love a fenced yard where she could run and play fetch and she walks very well on the leash too! Don’t let her little short legs fool you, she is a very fast runner if she gets away from you!
Lola will do best in a quieter environment where she can relax, play and know love. She loves the kids she lives with now and will do well with older kids. (over 7 yrs)
She is potty trained, and does not need to be crated during the day. She is happy to just hang out while you are at work.
Lola is not only a beauty but has brains too! She is a smart cookie and learns fast. We would recommend that she have some formal training to continue her learning as she seems to pick up on her person’s cues very fast!
Lola is not a barker so will be ok in a condo or apartment. She also likes to swim but she knows she needs to wear a life jacket and is happy to comply.
Lola is fully vetted and ready and waiting for a new home!!!!
