Nicholas - ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Nicholas is 9 years old and 9 pounds of absolutely gentle sweetness. This little guy is playful and serious, too. He likes the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys playing with them, either as a group or one-on-one. His demeanor is quietly charming. He likes to be held and carried around, and, of course, sit on laps! He is a most adorable little senior and will make a loving, loyal companion for any family. Nicholas is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.

To apply to adopt this sweet boy, please email his foster mom, Mary, at somadrescue@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicholas - ADOPTION PENDING, a Greensboro Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
