Marvin=Shih-Tzu/Cairn TerrierX(dob: 10/2/2009) and  his friend, Mona=long-haired Chihuahua(dob 10/2/2008) and 4 other small breedX dogs were orphaned when their elderly owner passed away, in Rutherford Co, NC, where they are in foster care(transport is available from western NC to as far N as upstate NY and all along the eastern seaboard-Maine & Massachusetts residents must be willing/able to meet transport in Manchester, NH). All pups were taken in by owner's son who has several very big and scary dogs who were trying to harm them, so he reached out to Howlin4Spirit CARes for help.

100% healthy. Will make a devoted companion for a quiet, retired lady OR couple with a safe environment(applicants with electric fences will not be accepted for this pup's future needs), where he will be an integral part of their daily life and be allowed to love UNconditionally, fur-ever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mona, a Lincolndale Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Lincolndale, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Lincolndale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolndale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolndale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolndale paves the way for another one to be saved.
