Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah was found outside by one of HFE's volunteers. At that time she was very skinny, had a lot of dried blood on her face, a bump on her head, and a swollen left eye. She loves to play with other dogs and has slowly come into her own. She has a sweet temperament but needs time to get to know people. Once she's comfortable, she loves to play with tennis balls, her blanket, and kong. She's a very alert and affectionate dog that loves to snuggle with you during tv time and when you're sleeping. She would probably do better with older kids because she is high energy and also is more comfortable with women. Nugget needs someone who will be patient with her because she has trust issues. She can be the only dog but will adapt more quickly if there is another dog in the home. Unfortunately, you won't get a sense of the great dog she is because she is very scared and nervous at events but her foster mom would be more than happy to meet you outside of an event to meet Nugget.
