Cooper's Story...
This beautiful sweet dog was adopted as a puppy by a family. He was an inside dog with a small farm to hang out on during the day. When his family moved to FL they gave Cooper to a man along with all of their chickens. Well the man put him in a pen with the chickens and left him there. After he killed a chicken the man moved him to a 4 foot chain IN a pen because every time he lets him loose, he runs off.. This sweet dog needs a home and family that will love him and treat him like family. Cooper is neutered, UTD on shots and preventives and is good with cats, kids and other dogs. He is between 2 and 2 1/2 years old now and weighs about 70 lbs. If you would like to give this good boy the forever home he deserves please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Allentown Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
