Marcus's Story...
This spectacular shaded silver 14month old boy was rescued from a local animal control. It turns out that we had met him before when the owner reached out for help last summer. We offered to help and completely vetted them but then she disappeared and we never heard from her again. That turns out to be very sad for this sweet boy because he was in horrible condition when he was surrendered to the shelter. His coat was matted beyond belief. Anyone who knows us, knows that we are very much against shaving Persians will go to great lengths to avoid ever doing it. The fact that this sweet boy is in a lion cut should tell you something. Fortunately, the shelter folks know us and called immediately. We got him into our vet and began the process of getting him on the road to health and wellness. He is so VERY sweet and his spectacular coat will grow back. He is young and playful and affectionate and deserves only the most loving, devoted family to make sure that he knows he is loved for the rest of his life. If you would like to be the one to give him this, contact us at FLUFFinfo@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marcus, a Nashville Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
