These beautiful kiddos are 7 months old as of early June. We think they are Shepherd mixes - mom is a longer haired girl who appears to be part Shepherd. Michael is great with other dogs, he has doggy friends of all shapes and sizes and he depends on his canine sister. We have learned that he needs another dog in his life to feel safe. Michael is also known as Mickey in his foster home where he lives with 3 young girls. He is a shy guy who takes a while to be comfortable. Once he does, he is a world class snuggler, but new situations are hard for him. If the other dog says it's OK, he's much more likely to join in.

These babies were found in an abandoned run-down group of “houses” in a rural area. They were fortunate that our partner rescuers were called and able to save them.
