Hi! My name is Becky and Im a little bit country. Believe it or not that other guy in MY video is my brother. Wee you can't help who you are related to I guess. Anyway let me tell you a little about my favorite topic....me! I am about four months old and love to play coy. I get good mileage out of pretending I am shy but my foster dad says I am a typical adolescent showoff whatever that is. Im hanging out here at Marley's world and Marley is teaching me important stuff like how to scam for cookies. Pa says Im real smart and learn stuff quick like to go in my kennel when he says "Bed Time." I kind of like him cause he knows how to rub a girls tummy just right. If you want to know more about me you will have to talk to him because Im kind of shy on the phone. Hahahaha. You can call him at 870-291-0365, email him at kylepigman@verizon.net or fill out an application to take me home with you at icare-ark.com

About Izard County Animal Rescue Effort (ICARE)

About Our Rescue Group...

ICARE was started in 2003 by a handful of people concerned about the number of abandoned dogs & cats and lack of care for others. By the end of the year, ICARE was a growing organization of volunteers, received non-profit status, and doing fundraisers in order to finance shelter, food, & vet care for homeless and unwanted animals in this rural county. Still an all volunteer organization, ICARE takes in homeless, sick/injured animals. We take care of their needs, get them in good health, spayed& neutered, and put them up for adoption. Fundraisers and donations are what keeps us financially level but, sadly, the need is always greater than the money to take care of them. But when we receive the pictures & followups from adopters and see how happy the pets are it makes it all worth while. These happy tails gives us a renewed burst of energy and determination to save as many pets as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our adoptable pets are in foster homes. Please contact us with any questions about pets you see. We will be happy to send more pictures, tell you about the pet's history, personality, and put you in touch with the foster family so you can get first hand information on the cat or dog.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee in the state of Arkansas is $75. The fee for out-of-state adoptions is $95. An application can be found on our website, www.icare-ark.com which can be filled out and submitted online. If approved for adoption, we require the adopter to sign a contract of care and, if pet is not spayed/neutered, a spay/neuter compliance form. We will help to arrange transport but adopter is responsible for transport fees.
