Chico's Story...
Please meet Chico. Chico's story is a complicated one. He had a mommy who "loved" him very much. Then mommy met crappy boyfriend. Crappy boyfriend wasn't a dog lover and would lock Chico in the laundry room and withhold food and water when he got mad at Chico. Crappy boyfriend later became even crappier fiancé who said Chico had to go. The day he got out of there was the first day of his new life and he has never looked back.
Fast forward to now and Chico lives with one of the best foster moms around. He has his own kennel, a soft bed, and even a few other doggy pals he gets to play around with. Chico is about 2 years old and around 50 lbs. He's that dog who can make dogs and humans alike come out of their shell with his charming and silly personality. Chico is very smart and even knows a few tricks. He would be the perfect dog for the adventurous type or someone who wants a best friend to throw a ball with in the back yard. He is your "take anywhere dog" and he is looking for his forever home. His adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, microchip, yearly vaccines, up to date flea/tick/heartworm prevention and transport from Memphis to you via professional rescue transport company.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chico, a Rochester Boxer/St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/St. Bernard for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Boxer/St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/St. Bernard breeders who help with Boxer/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
