Emmie's Story...
Meet Emmie! Emmie is a one year old, 7lb, Long Haired Chihuahua. Emmie is one of the sweetest little dogs I've fostered. She loves to give hugs and kisses. Yes, she literally hugs you! She was on the kill list at our local shelter because she was scared, but in the description they said that she went to them for comfort! Well, when she is unsure, she is stuck to your side like glue but, when she is confident, she loves to run around and play. She does great with dogs her size. She loves to snuggle into your neck. She's pretty much a perfect little girl! If you'd like to learn more about Emmie, call or text her foster mom at 443-248-4740 or complete an interest application at www.ahome4spot.com. Don't let the number fool you, she is located in Vegas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmie, a Las Vegas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
