My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Merlot is a Special Needs Pomeranian who is blind, diabetic and has Cushings , but a happy sweet guy with a lot of love to give.

Meet Merlot, he is a very special guy, we like to call him Stevie the Pom. Merlot is a beautiful 9 year old senior Pomeranian, rescued from our local shelter after being picked up by Animal Control. Blind and diabetic, but that doesn't slow him down or stop him one bit. Merlot also has Cushings, and will require daily medicine in addition to daily insulin injections. Merlot is sweet, cuddly and very well-behaved. He currently lives in a foster home with 6 other dogs and gets along with them very well, but do not know yet about children or cats. He is very smart and let's you know when he needs to go potty. potty. Recently diagnosed with Cushings, Merlot's diabetes is subject to change as he will require monthly monitoring of both conditions to ensure he is on the correct prescription dosage. The diabetes is managed with (2) daily insulin injections and a monitored diet, but he does need a very special home prepared to fully commit to his medical needs. If you are that special person, please contact his foster mom Lisa at 702-929-8290 and complete an interest application at www.ahome4spot.com.
