Millie's Story...
Sweet little Millie is a year old and until we rescued her last week, her whole life was on the end of cable attached to a pet taxi. Seriously! And they said they put a tarp over it in the winter. Unbelievable. Her owners also had a yorkie that they surrendered to us at the same time. She was kept inside but they did play together when the yorkie was outside. Millie is happy as can be now in a foster home with 7 other little dogs and one kitty. She loves to play but her favorite thing is sitting in someones lap giving kisses! She has a lot of them stored up and is eager to give them out! She is UTD on all shots and will be spayed before going to her new home. Millie is just a year old and weighs 7 lbs. She is a little sassy and does get a little bossy sometimes but everyone still loves her!. If you would like to make this special girl your new forever friend, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Washington Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Washington, or seeking a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
