Captain Black's Story...
Captain Black has a bit of a mischievous streak in him. He loves to take daily strolls throughout the house, checking out this and making sure that is in its correct place. And from time to time he might even play hide and seek and who knows where you will find him. He’s also quite adept at opening up cabinets and doors – but not to escape, just to see what’s on the other side.

Captain Black and his best friend, Mimolette, are beautiful adult cats – both a little shy but very sweet - and will need to be adopted together. Both have gorgeous long silky soft and luxurious fur and Mimolette loves to be brushed. They are indoor only cats but enjoy looking out the windows at all the bird traffic and other outside sights. These cats would be perfect for someone who is looking for beautiful, quiet, easy going companions.

If you would like to adopt these two beautiful cats, please visit www.KittyDevoreRescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain Black, a Santa Ana Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
