Meet one of the Greys that just transferred to AHW from another shelter!

This is a beautiful girl named Lucy!! Lucy is a wonderful girl, she is actually quite affectionate. She is a really wonderful Congo that will be an amazing addition to a very lucky home!!

We are seeing a slight preference for Lucy to be more affectionate and responsive to women, but she is not aggressive or a problem with men. We would consider her for a family, but she would be wonderful for a parrot loving lady looking for a gorgeous grey to share her home with!

The Adoption Process: Fill out our online adoption application which can be found on our website, www.ahelpingwing.org (no phone calls please). A representative from A Helping Wing will be in touch to answer all questions and discuss setting up a first visit. Multiple visits are required before adoption. Although there is no application fee, there is an adoption fee, which covers food, medical care, etc., and allows us to continue our efforts in rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for all of our birds. All birds at AHW have been vetted and have negative tests for any disease before they are made available for adoption!
