Everyone meet Emme - the male Eckie!!

Emme is a big boy, loves to eat and is doing great at the shelter. He is a new arrival, but out of quarantine and all disease testing came back clean. So he's ready for his new home!! We are still working on getting his beak in check, it was much more overgrown when he first arrived.

Emme hs been living in a home with an Amazon, so he will likely do well in a family home with other birds, or he is very social, so being a single bird being very spoiled would also be fine.

The Adoption Process:Fill out our online adoption application which can be found on our website, www.ahelpingwing.org (no phone calls please). A representative from A Helping Wing will be in touch to answer all questions and discuss setting up a first visit. Multiple visits are required before adoption. Although there is no application fee, there is an adoption fee, which covers food, medical care, etc., and allows us to continue our efforts in rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for all of our birds. All birds at AHW have been vetted and have negative tests for any disease before they are made available for adoption!
