Georgia's Story...
Meet Georgia! Georgia is a sweet, loving, 7 year old, 7lb. Shih Tzu. Georgia was rescued off of the kill list at our local shelter for being scared. Georgia has been through a lot in her short little life. She is missing most of her teeth and she has scars all over her little body. Despite all of that she's still a sweet little love bug. And no one will see those scars once her beautiful long hair, that we had to shave off due to the very bad matts, grows back. She loves belly rubs and loves to be near her people. She would do best in a home with no small children. If you'd like to learn more about Georgia please call or text her foster mom at 443-248-4740 or complete an interest application at www.ahome4spot.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Las Vegas Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
