Dougy's Story...

Dougy is a go with the flow, everything is cool kinda dog. He is probably the easiest dog we've ever had in our rescue program. He can be home alone during the day while you work and just enjoy laying on his back with his arms above his head snoring away!

Dougy is up for any adventure as he's a 2 year old sprite and can keep up with the best of them. But he's not high maintenance or needing a ton of exercise.

Dougy loves to play and is so polite. He wont jump on you or get too mouthy. He'll chase the toys you toss for him and run around you with glee. As soon as you say time to put toys away, he's calm and cool as a cucumber again!

This healthy boy is ready for a home today! His adoption fee is $150 covering his immunizations, microchip, recent vet check, flea preventative, martingale collar,  and a lifetime of support.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dougy, a Eugene Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Eugene, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
