Sparky's Story...

Sparky is such a fun loving little guy. He's so full of life and enthusiasm. He is learning new tricks and could be a great service dog, therapy dog, agility, you name it he could do it!

His first love is YOU! He wants to be in your arms by your side or just near you as much as possible! He's great out on his walks and frequents the neighborhood corner shop where he sits for treats. He brings smiles wherever he goes.

Sparkys adoption fee of $150 covers his neuter, microchip, all vaccines, current vet check and grooming, a collar, food for the transition, and a lifetime of support.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Eugene Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Eugene, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
