Foster parents have the first option to adopt. We will provide all you need to foster.
Weight: 85 lbs
Age: 1 year and 6 months
Personality: Very sweet, friendly, affectionate, and gentle. Good with kids and other dogs in any size. He loves to cuddle with people and has a great temperament.
Coat: Short, German Shepherd coat. He does shed and will need regular maintenance with furminator and an occasional bath.
Training: He knows basic commands such as sit and shake. Will need training on leash walk.
Potty trained: Yes
Health: Excellent. He is currently being fostered at a vet hospital and is well taken care of.
History: Charley was born from an accidental breeding. Although he grew up at a vet hospital his entire life, he is well adjusted and social.
Fostered in: La Mirada, CA (Southern California Applications only)
Type of home: Most home situations would be a good match for Charley. He’d make an excellent family dog with kids, but would also be quite happy with an active single person or couple. He will do well in social situations where you want to take your dog with you, like having coffee, a meal or walking through a store. He is a dog who needs attention, not in a clingy needy way, but he really enjoys being pet.
Crate trained: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Kids: Yes
Good with Cats: Unknown
Adoption fee (non-refundable): $300
