Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Shyla and I am a 1 year old Silky Terrier who weighs around 8 lb. I am shy for about the first 5 minutes that I meet you then I turn into a loving velcro dog that loves snuggling. The reason I do not look like a Silky Terrier is that when I came into rescue my coat was full of mats sothe groomer had to shave me. My coat will be gorgeous when it grows out and someone takes the time to brush me. I love to play with my foster K9 siblings and also play with all sorts of toys (the squeaky ones are my favorite). I'm also very fond of the kids in my foster house. My very favorite thing to do is to run and play in the backyard so a fenced in yard is a MUST! My foster mom has been trying to help me have nice potty habits and with a little more work I will have it down in no time. Shyla is up to date on all her shots, is heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, spayed, and microchipped. Shylas’ adoption fee is $350. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org.
