Maya's Story...
Maya is a gorgeous 1-2 year old pit bull terrier mix who weighs around 40 pounds. She's a sweet girl who's ready for a family to call her own. She loves people and is eager to please, so learning new tricks should be a breeze for Maya with continued attention. She loves going for walks or jogs and would be a wonderful companion for an active family. A fenced e yard is required for Maya because she loves to run around and play. Are you looking for a sweet, snuggly girl who's also ready to hop up and nice long walk or game of toss?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Baton Rouge Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
