Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunter is an amazing Blue Merle Border Collie/Jack Russell mix. We had his DNA swab done, and while he has markers of several awesome breeds, his two larger markers were the Border Collie and Jack Russell.
He is VERY high energy and a great dog to go running, hiking, or on long walks with.
With adults he is super cuddly and loving and a true lap dog. He's really happy and well adjusted with most people (even strangers). However, he is not comfortable around young children and will need to be in an adult only home.
Hunter currently runs three times a week and he barely breaks a sweat, so he's definitely high energy and needs an active home.
Hunter loves agility classes, and has even gone to sheep herding classes in Malibu, and he completely loved it! He knows basic sit, lie down, shake commands, and is, of course, house trained.
He's a Border Collie/Jack Russell, so he obviously very intelligent, and I think if you really wanted to work with him further, he could probably do just about anything you wanted him to do!
Hunter is very healthy and active and is approximately 7 years old.
We just think he's the most handsome dog in the world! Once he trusts you, that's it - he'll never leave your side, and he just melts like a pat of butter in your lap.
He gets along well with other dogs or would be perfectly happy being the center of attention in an only dog house as well.
