Conner's Story...
Hi, my name is Conner,

a kind man brought me to the Ark because my family let me run loose on a busy street all the time, which I crossed and went to the bar on the other side.
My family agreed to give me to the Ark before I was killed in traffic. I am a sweet, sweet dog, love to play and cuddle. The Ark had my ears fixed and I do have a slight heart murmur. No big problem and no medication.
I am also a small dog with 20lbs and I was borne December 2009.

If you come to visit the Ark, please ask for Conner, that's me!

Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Conner, a Huntsville Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
