Sydney's Story...
Could you be the most beautiful girl in the world Sydney, could you be?
It's plain to see you're the reason that God made a girl...

Sydney has been stealing hearts since her rescue from a high kill shelter, and our beauty queen really does have the total package: looks (have you seen that beautiful merle coat?), smarts, and the personality! She's a sweet, fun, tail waggin, life-of-the-party type of gal and she has done well with everyone she's met, including dogs of all sizes. Sydney is about 1.5 years old, 50 pounds, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting beautiful Sydney, please complete an adoption application from www.omdrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney, a Wethersfield Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wethersfield, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wethersfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wethersfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wethersfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wethersfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
