Hi there, folks! My name is Bob Cornfoot. I'm around 2 years old and I weigh around 80 lbs.
I was found surrendered to the pound by my (new) owner because I didn't mix well with the other dogs they had. They had a really annoying puppy that just wouldn't leave me alone. I didn't want to bite the puppy, but he just wouldn't leave me be. They only had me for 2 days and wouldn't keep the puppy away from me. I was in a strange environment with strange dogs and strange people. I was not comfortable yet. I really tried to be a good boy! The people even said that I am potty trained and I was good with their kids.
I am great with the other dogs that I have been around here at the pound. I would be especially good with a dog that is calmer and quiet. I don't really like all of the commotion and crazy puppy shenanigans. If you currently have any other dogs, I need to meet them prior to adoption to make sure we get along well.
I am a very big, very strong fellow. My family will need to be able to handle my strength.
It is highly advised that my new family gets in touch with a trainer to help me with leash manners if they don't know how to work with me. I don't know any better and I will drag you all over the place.
I am a really wonderful boy here at the pound. When it is nice outside, I love being left in the large fenced play area here. I love lounging around in the warm sunshine in the grass. Though I can be quite a vocal boy when I'm playing or waiting on a treat, I tend to be very quiet in the yard. I really enjoy it out there even when I'm left alone. I usually just go get a ball and roll around or lay around with it in my mouth.
I really love the big, heavy duty rubber Kong ball here. It easily withstands my chewing and has become my favorite. Maybe my new family could get me some...

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer. I also tested negative for heartworm on 4/13/16

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MARCH 30, 2016.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
