My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everybody wants that elusive perfectly sized “medium dog”. Well here he is! Meet Porky, the 4-year-old, 30 lb. Schipperke/cattle dog mix. This pup is not only a great size, he is also a very unique looking boy. Porky is an incredibly sweet guy and will roll over on his back as soon as he sees a potential belly rub approaching. Though well behaved, he would do best in an active home willing to provide plenty of exercise and enrichment to ensure his happiness. Interested in adding a super-fun pal to the family who also happens to be the perfect size? Contact The Pet Rescue Center today and ask for Porky. You’ll be glad you did.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
