Axel's Story...
Axel came from a backyard breeder who was going to dump him and his sister at the pound because they were deformed. They both have web feet and Axel had a club foot to top it off. This is not the first litter like this and they don't care as they are making $600 per puppy. Axel was born Dec 18th 2015 so is about 5 months old. The last picture is of Axel the day we got him. You can see how the club foot looked. We got him and his sister checked out at the vets and they both get around fine with the web feet and not in any pain. As for the club foot our vet recommended removing it because at some point the bone was going to break through and that would be so painful for him. We decided to have it removed while he was still very young and it does not both him one little bit, being 3 legged. He never could really use the club foot anyway so was already use to walking 3 legged. He has such a great personality and so sweet and loving. His sister was adopted over a month ago and now it is time for Axel to find his home. He is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. He does not let anything keep him down. He would love a nice fenced in yard and buddy to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axel, a Allentown Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
