Lamb Chop's Story...
Lamb Chop is a 10 week old Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy who is full of energy! Just a typical Jack Russell Terrier! "Lambie" is in our PADDLE Program - this is a program where the puppies live with female trustees who for them and train them until they are adopted. This program has produced some amazing puppies and they are getting rave reviews! Lambie is a sweet girl who gets along with the other puppies in the program and is happy to snuggle up with her trustee also. Lambie is "in jail" in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lamb Chop, a Staunton Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
