Coca's Story...
We are pleased to introduce Coca, a 1-year-old male Cocker Spaniel looking for the perfect home. Coca was originally a pet store purchase whose owner no longer had time to care for him due to out of town work commitments. Our handsome Cocker is currently in a foster home with a cat and the recently adopted Marley, a larger male dog, and gets along famously with both of them. Coca can’t get enough playtime in with Marley, and also enjoys pulling his human foster brother on a skateboard. He is smart, affectionate and listens well, and will make an excellent addition for a fortunate adopter. Coca was a much-loved pet and does not come with any emotional baggage. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you have the time to take care of this young active spaniel. Coca will also be at our upcoming adoption day at Mon Ami in Kirkland on Saturday, April 23. Details are on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coca, a Rigaud Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
