My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Zena! She's a pretty one year old Terrier mix. Zena was a found stray that was kept in the home until the family's lease was up. She's a timid girl that's very cautious with new people. She loves kids and became protective of them. There were cats in the family and Zena enjoyed playing with them. The family said she has a fear of going outside and needs to be carried. Since at the shelter she has reluctantly gone out on a leash. Zena uses potty pads in the house and will need additional training with pottying outside. She's a sweet girl that would love a patient family to help her relieve her anxiety.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
