Tyr, male, D.O.B. 04/28/2015, Lab/ American Bulldog mix, 70lbs

Tyr was part of a litter of puppies we had with their mother last year. He had been adopted when he was 9 weeks old. After about 6 months the adopter contacted us that she was moving to the city and two dogs would be to much for her to handle, so Tyr was returned. He is now looking for a home that would never abandon him and view him as a family member.

Tyr is a sweet boy and loves everyone he meets, he is is good with kids too. He is good with other dogs and is learning proper manners with cats (such as using his paws ect.) He loves to run and play in the yard and is working very hard on his manners.

Tyr would love to find a home with his own fenced in yard and someone who will let him excersize and work with him everyday. He would be an excellent running companion.

Tyr is crate trained and fully vetted.

Tyr's adoption fee is 175.00. If Tyr is the family dog you have been looking for, let us know.

Tyr is a local Saint Louis metro area only adoption.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Come join us Saturday, November 29th at Pets in the City on 1919 South Grand Suite 100 in St. Louis from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. Please note not all adoptable animals will be in attendance at all events. Contact the rescue if you wish to meet a particular four legged friend.

Our Adoption Process...

• All of our dogs are in separate foster homes; therefore it is not possible to come visit them all at once.
• You must be 18 years of age to adopt
• An adoption application must first be completed on our website before we will contact you about the possible adoption of any dog. If the adoption application is not completed in its entirety it will not be approved and no contact will be made.
• All general questions will be responded to via email
• Please understand that all our representatives are volunteers and may not be able to get in touch with you immediately. Please allow up to five days for us to get in contact with you. Emails and phone calls will only slow down the adoption process. To speed up the adoption process please contact your Veterinarian and give them permission to release information to us.
o All dogs and cats in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations and have annual visits at their Veterinarian.

• After initial approval of your application a representative will contact you for a phone interview.
• After the phone interview we will schedule a home visit. Please note it is not always possible to bring the dog with on a home visit.
o A home visit is required of all adoptions.
o During the home visit all people residing at the residence must be present.
o You must allow the representative into all areas of the property. This includes all bedrooms, the basement and any outdoor buildings. If there are any areas our representative are not allowed access to the application will be denied.
• After the home visit and application have been approved, we will make an appointment for you to meet the dog you would like to adopt. If all goes well we will then complete the adoption process.
• We DO NOT transport our dogs. If further than a 50 miles radius from the Saint Louis metro area and the application is approved, you must come and pick up the dog.
o In circumstances that we have to travel more than 50 miles to perform a home visit a fee may be assessed

Everything we do is in the best interest of our dogs; they are our number one priority. There will be no exceptions to our adoption guidelines. We will only adopt a dog to a home that is a good fit for that dog. So please understand we may not approve your application for one dog, but may approve it for another.
We reserve the right to deny any application at any point in the adoption process.

The adoption fees for each dog can vary and is based on the accumulated expenses (Vet bills, shelter fees, pull fees) and a nominal adoption fee to cover our administrative expenses.
