ADOPTION PENDING
Hi, everyone! My name is Coffee, and just like the beverage, I am a favorite of many and am enjoyable any time of the day! I'm a 1 year old, beautiful red American Staffordshire terrier. Once upon a time, I had a family and a house, but my family kicked me out when I was a young puppy and I ended up at the shelter. I lived at that shelter for 10 long months. And then there wasn't any space. I was kind of freaking out a little bit, thinking 'what's going to happen to me?' And then my big break came in the form of a rescue group. I intend to make great use of my opportunity to find the perfect home. When I first came to rescue, I was a little under the weather because my neuter surgery didn't go so hot and I had to have another surgery the next day to fix what got messed up. But you wouldn't know I had a rocky start because I am a completely happy camper and have healed up very well! I am a VERY laid-back dog. In fact, you've never met a dog as mellow and calm as me. I don't bark, I don't jump up, I don't even get excited about much. If a new person enters the room, I calmly walk over to them, sniff, and walk away. Of course, if they call my name I come walking back over, tail wagging, so I can get pats. I get along with other dogs, especially the ladies. I weigh 52 pounds, am good on a leash, and am neutered, microchipped, updated on vaccines, and started on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Now all I need is a home. Can you help me out with that?
