Hello, there! My name is Shilo. I am a 6 year old sheltie mix and my mommy couldn't afford to keep me anymore. So now I'm looking for a new home! I am quite a little cuddle bug and love meeting new friends. I did not live with kids in my last home, but I did live with other dogs. I don't think I ever met any cats. I've been described as a total lady and really I have so many good qualities that it isn't possible to describe them all here. You'd have to spend a moment with me to fully appreciate how wonderful I am. I am already spayed, updated on my vaccines, and housetrained....big plus, right? I weigh about 25 pounds. I have nothing else to do but wait for your visit, so please come as soon as you can, ok?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shilo, a Tyrone Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Tyrone, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Tyrone.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tyrone already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tyrone breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tyrone paves the way for another one to be saved.
