My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello,  my name's Slick! I was rescued by a good samaritan who saw my owner abusing me, but she cannot keep me because her current dog is dog aggressive. Therefore, I'm living in a separate area of the house in a very large crate until a foster or adopter can be found for me.  Here's a bit bout me: I'm probably about 5-6 months old and probably a pit mix. I'm very friendly and a bit overly so: I will need work on mouthiness, nipping, and 'keeping it under control'. I seem to enjoy attention from adults and children, but I would be too much for little children.  I met a cat once and was curious (wanted to play) and I have shown no aggression towards the few dogs I've met so far. I'm very active, and will need a good bit of exercise. When we go walking on leash I have a habit of grabbing the leash and holding it in my mouth as we walk. I enjoy playing fetch and searching for biscuits in yard. I'm a smart boy who likes to have something to do! I'm scheduled to be fixed and updated on vaccines soon.
