Facts about Bass - N

  • Breed: Dutch Shepherd/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Bass is a shy but loving dog who warms up with some comforting and reassurance. We think he would do best with a family who has the time and patience to build up his confidence through positive reinforcement. A basic obedience class would benefit him greatly to boost his social skills as well as his leash walking skills. He hasn't paid much attention to cats and is friendly with other dogs. We don't know his mix for sure but we think there may be some Dutch Shepherd and Terrier in there. His estimated year of birth is 2012 and his weight is around 40 lbs. If interested in Bass, please email RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached.

About Smiling Dog Farms- NY chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Smiling Dog Farms is a sanctuary for the forgotten, neglected and rejected. Our dogs come from shelters and rescues all across America. All dogs that are deemed adoptable are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention. Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the northeastern states.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the dogs that come to our Sanctuary have had a scary background of being left to die in animal shelters across the country. Understandably, we are very careful in our approving our adoptions as we are dedicated to ensuring that this dogs truly go to a "forever" home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
