Lulu's Story...
"Hello! My name is LULU, and I want you to know that I'm a good-natured, entertaining pooch who will put some sunshine into your life. I'm about three years old, and I'm a terrier/ poodle blend who loves everyone. I have an easy-going, balanced attitude, so while I'll love our time together, I can also be independent. I'd be an excellent family pet, and I also enjoy spending time with other dogs. Now let's talk about my cuteness. My ears seem to have a mind of their own, so one, or both, might stand up at any moment. My front legs somewhat face each other, which gives me an endearing quality. I enjoy going for walks, and I'll appreciate any time we get to spend together. I hope you'll come visit me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter so you can see for yourself what a special little gal I am, then maybe you'll take me to my new home and cherish me forever. I hope to see you soon! Love, Lulu"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a El Cajon Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
