"Hi, friends! My name is STONEY, and I'm a friendly two-year-old Miniature Poodle fellow who loves attention. I came to the El Cajon Animal Shelter with another dog because our family had to move away, and they couldn't take us along. I'd love to be with a person or a family who'll give me the affection that I deserve. I've already been house trained, and I get along very well with other dogs. If a family adopts me, I'd do best in one where the kids are older and considerate of me. Since coming to the shelter, I've learned how to walk on a leash, and now I enjoy it. I'm a very lovable boy, and I know I'd be a great companion. I know how to sit on command (I'm treat motivated), and I'll sit pretty when the mood strikes me. I'm in heaven when people give me tummy rubs, or any kind of attention, really. I hope you'll come spend some time with me out in the nice play yard that they have here, then you can see what a genuinely sweet little guy I am. I'm a lively fellow, so I tend to bark at people from my kennel, so please don't let that deter you. Ask our helpful staff if we can go out to the play yard together so you can see the great dog that I am. I hope to see you soon! Love, Stoney"
