Bernard is a male Havanese mix only 1 year old. He is a sturdy, robust dog weighing 23 pounds full grown. Bernard has a gorgeous creamy ivory coat that is non-shedding. His eyes are a clear chocolate brown and amber and he has an adorable big black nose. Bernard is a people dog all the way and he will be your best friend, glued to your side, trusty and loyal forever. Bernard has a heart of gold and he definitely wants to share it with someone. He is super affectionate and has a social personality. His greatest desire is to be with people and included as a valued family member. He is gentle and kind in everything he does, attentive to vocal commands and comes easily when called. He is so eager to be by your side you could probably walk him without a leash once he bonded to you. Bernard is great with kids and good with other dogs. He would thrive as a family dog or with someone who wants a companion throughout the day to join in errands and activities. Bernard rides well in the car and walks easily on leash. He has a nice amount of energy for longer walks or trips to the park, but he is not a hyperactive dog at all. He knows how to settle down inside, especially if he is curled up at your feet or snuggled next to you on the couch. The love that sweet Bernard has to give is endless. We adore this huggable winner and can't believe he was discovered stray in the shelter in a sad and neglected state. We were delighted to uncover an absolutely gorgeous, friendly young dog. Bernard is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Bernard’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
