Hi there. My name is Gatsby. I'm about 4 months old and I weigh 39.7 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area and I was brought in to the pound.
I am a very sweet and loving little puppy. I am already very smart and very well behaved, so someone has obviously worked with me some.
I want to be with you, but when the girls here cant be with me when I am in the office, I just go lay down on a dog bed or on the floor under their desks.
I have something up with my muzzle. The pound did take me to the vet, just to make sure it wasn't something super serious. It doesn't seem to bother me a whole lot, I just sometimes make a snorting/ gurgling type of sound when I breathe. The vet said it is possibly an old injury or a birth defect. I was put on a course of antibiotics just to make sure I don't have or get an infection in there.
I am wonderful with both people and other dogs.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER APRIL 21, 2016.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
