My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Wyatt. How are you doing? I really hope that you are in the market for a Poodle/Papillon mix. At least that is what I think I am. Does it really matter what I am mixed with, though? I'm adorable and super sweet. I think that's what is most important. Don't you agree?

I am a male pup, probably around 4 years of age. I weigh approximately 8 pounds. I have already been microchipped and I have received all of my necessary vaccines. I'm just waiting for you to come get me!

Not a lot is known about my history as I came into a local high-kill shelter as a stray. When I got there, the shelter vet noticed that there was something amiss with my left eye. Upon further inspection, they noticed that I had an ulcer in my eye. I was put on medication in the hopes that my eye would improve without surgery.

I only spent 6 days at the shelter before CageFree heard about my condition. They just knew that the shelter was no place for me. They rescued me and sent me straight to their private vet to have my eye checked out. My doctor decided to continue with medication for a few weeks and see how things go. It's possible that I may have to lose my eye, but who cares. I'll still be the cutest dog in the world. And hey, I'll still have one good eye!

As I had mentioned before, I am a super sweet dog. I just love people and I get along great with other dogs. I'm always up for making new friends. I also happen to be a very, very well-behaved boy. I am quiet, walk nicely on a leash, and appear to be crate trained. What more could you ask for?

So, if you feel like I would make a great addition to your family, please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and tell them you want to schedule a time to come meet me. I can't wait to meet you.
