Sheba's Story...

Sweet Sheba is a darling 5-year-old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix. She has a beautiful, white/black coat which is super soft to the touch. Her cute tail loops and wiggles and her perky ears make bunny rabbits jealous! Sheba is a very spunky girl and she can't wait to go on all kinds of adventures with you. Stop by Seattle Humane and meet a happy, delightful girl named Sheba! She will be the queen of your heart!

Sheba is currently staying in one of our wonderful foster homes, but it’s easy to set up a time to meet her. Just contact Seattle Humane at (425) 649-7563 or adoption@seattlehumane.org to learn more about this loving girl.

As with all of our dogs, Sheba has been spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and behavior tested.  She will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and identification tag.  PLUS, most dog adoptions include 30-days of pet insurance with Trupanion and six weeks of training in one of our on-campus behavior courses - a great way to start off on the right paw!

Introduce to children over the age of 8. Resident dogs are required to visit Sheba before adoption. Introduce to cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Bellevue Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
