Frank's Story...

This handsome fellow is Frank, a 10-year old brown tabby boy who is not just a lap boy - he is a tummy boy.  Yes, Frank likes to nap with his person and the tummy area is one of his favorites!  Frank also has a best friend Missy (00964786) so we are looking for a home where these two buddies can live together.  Frank and Missy are a great pair so please come meet them at Seattle Humane.  Putting people and pets together is what we do.

As with all of our cats, Frank has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and behavior tested.  He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and a collar with an identification tag.  PLUS, most cat adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion - a great way to start off on the right paw!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frank, a Bellevue Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
