Bridgette's Story...
Sweet Bridgette is a six month old Pomeranian/Dachshund mix. She weighs about 8 pounds and will stay on the small size. She has a fluffy beautiful red coat with black highlights. She is potty trained to use pads, but we are working on being fully potty trained. She joined FOR after spending much of her early life tied up outside. She is crate trained and loves her toys and blanket. She is somewhat afraid of going outside at night, but otherwise loves going for walks. Bridgette would do best in a home with a strong leader or a home with no other pets as she wants to be top dog, despite her small size. She likes to stay close to her people and loves to snuggle. She tends to be fearful of small children and would do best in low key home with older or no children. Bridgette has a lot of love to share with that special person who would love a little spice in their life! Bridgette is fostered in Huntsville area and is not available for transport. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bridgette, a Nashville Pomeranian/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Dachshund for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Pomeranian/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Dachshund breeders who help with Pomeranian/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
