I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Josie was found stray, but wearing an old collar nearly starved to death on January 3. She was literally half of her normal weight. She has since received regular meals and veterinary care and blossomed into a happy and well adjusted dog. She smiled for weeks after being rescued, she was so happy to be alive! Josie is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, and she has received heartworm treatment from her vet. We will provide all medical records. She is at a healthy weight of 50 pounds. She is a mature dog and estimated to be 6-7 years old. Josie lives well with other animals. She is currently being fostered with dogs over 50 pounds and dogs under 20 pounds. She is crate trained and housetrained and would love to have a real home to spend the rest of her sweet life. Josie has had a rough start in life, but her temperament is wonderful. She just wants to belong to someone. We do not know her cat compatibility, but we think she would be cat safe. If for any reason her adoption did not work out in a home with cats, your adoption fee is refundable, however, we can take her to the vet and cat test if you prefer.
Application, fenced yard, home visit, and adoption fee required to adopt Josie. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more pictures and an application to adopt this nice dog. Or text 256x665x6104
