Peter Parker's Story...
Peter Parker is a male Dachshund mix, 3.5 years old (as of April 2016). Peter Parker, along with his housemate Chester, was brought to GGOH when his owner could no longer care for him. Both Peter Parker and Chester were previous GGOH rescues so when we got the call asking us if we could take them in once again, we of course said "absolutely". Peter Parker is a very friendly, spunky little dog who loves to play and will give you all the love and affection you could possible want. If you're looking for a small, fun-loving dog, Peter Parker just might be the one you've been searching for!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peter Parker, a New Richmond, Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in New Richmond,, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in New Richmond,.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond, already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond, breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond, paves the way for another one to be saved.
