BUSTER: URGENT NEEDS COMMITMENT BY SUNDAY, APRIL 24, 2016

I was found all by my lonesome in the Food Lion parking lot. My family has not come for me yet, but my 3 day stray hold is up, so I'm looking for my new family or rescue.

I'm a brindle male with a whirlwind tail! I'm medium-size and very active. I'm the FRIENDLIEST boy you'll ever meet. I'm at the Town shelter in Windsor.

If you want to meet me, please contact the volunteers of the Bertie County Humane Society:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BUSTER, a Powellsville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Powellsville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Powellsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powellsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powellsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powellsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
