This is Rupert, an 18-month-old mystery mix of about 50 pounds who is proving to be a wonderful dog and a pleasure to have in the rescue. We have no idea what his mix is, but his markings are reminiscent of Border Collie, and his thicker coat and curled tail hint at a northern breed. Rupert is remarkably well behaved for a young dog that has spent most, if not all, of his life chained outside. No doubt he is grateful for the attention and excellent care he is now receiving. Rupert is friendly, clean inside, listens well, and is good with other dogs. Like any young dog, he would benefit from training and structure but he is not difficult. Being a nice medium size, Rupert could even be suitable for a novice dog owner who is serious about having a lifelong companion. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you would like to offer Rupert the love and stability he so deserves. Rupert will also be at our upcoming adoption day at Mon Ami in Kirkland on Saturday, April 23. Details are on our website.
