Lilith's Story...
If I said that I am affectionate, that would be an understatement. I love attention, as much as I can get…as much as I can give! I mean, it is nice to hang out with all the other doggies here, but I want people! I miss the days of walking down the street and everyone stopping to pet me and shower me with attention! Man, woman, child, human, canine…even feline! You name them, I want their affection! I could be described as a social butterfly, some may say. I love to love, and I love being loved, and the more people I meet...the more love I get! I have sweetness oozing from my aura, and I just wanna smother you up! Not only am I lovable as can be, I am super playful and eager to please. So don’t delay because I am going to make someone a happy camper, and you might just be left up the lonely creek without a sweet pup to help you paddle! 1 year old-59lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilith, a Portland Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
