Leroy Brown's Info...

Leroy Brown's Story...
I’m an awesome, super sweet and lovable English Bulldog! You may have noticed I'm hairless. When SABR found me at Animal Care Services, I was a mess with demodex mange, heartworms, an upper respiratory infection, and yucky eyes. My demodex and infections have healed, so I should be ready for adoption in the next couple of months! I just started heartworm treatments. I’m probably 3-4 years old. Adoption Fee: $600

FROM MY FOSTER MOM:
Leroy is probably the sweetest dog we have ever had in all of our years of fostering. He has the sweetest disposition. Leroy loves to cuddle and is a great lap dog or so he thinks. He still has some puppy energy and needs to be watched closely, otherwise he will find things to occupy himself with. Mostly, he just wants to lay on the couch to sleep. He loves to sunbathe, chase June bugs, and run across the yard. He no longer has mange, but not all of the hair has grown back yet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leroy Brown, a Cibolo English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Cibolo, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Cibolo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cibolo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cibolo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cibolo paves the way for another one to be saved.
