Facts about Zoe

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Zoe is a very sweet, beautiful cat that was forced to live and give birth to her kittens in an old abandon car. She lived in a very bad neighborhood were no one seems to get their animals fixed and it is pretty bad. A nice lady lives there and feeds them and calls us for help when she sees these poor cats having to live this way. Zoe was a very good mom but now she is spayed and it is her turn to be nurtured and loved. She is up to date on her FVRCP and rabies vaccines, flea and worm free and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Zoe is a talker and would love to tell you how much she would love to move in with you!;

About Castaway Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

Castaway Cats is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cat rescue based in Bear, DE, comprised entirely of volunteers. We do not have a shelter and all of our cats are in foster homes. This rescue was started in 1992 in an effort to help the homeless and feral cats in our area. Each cat we rescue is spayed/neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated with FVCRP and rabies shots, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Because all our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, we do not adopt out kittens under the age of 12 weeks.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in meeting one of our cats, you can fill out our online adoption application at Once we receive your application we will contact you with any questions we may have, and then will set up a day and time for you to meet the cat/cats. Once a match is found for your family, there is an $85 adoption fee. This fee covers spaying/neutering of your cat, worming, all shots including rabies, ear mite and flea treatment, and Feline Leukemia and AIDS testing. All adoptions are done on a trial basis so we can be sure everyone is happy. Our goal is to find the best possible cat for you and to ensure our cats have happy forever homes.
